The Catalyst is an independent nonprofit organization, and as such we are constantly facing financial boundaries. We have up to 200 different staff members, writers, photographers, artists, and other contributors who work for our newspaper at a given time, all of whom are financially compensated for the work that they do.
The three main ways your donation would better our student newspaper are as follows:
- Your donation would help us continue to be a place where up-and-coming journalists, photographers, artists, web designers, and administrators can develop their skill sets.
- Your donation would help give us the ability to hire more upper-level staff and broaden our outreach to a larger audience.
- Your donation would help us continue our mission of providing accurate, honest, and timely news to the Colorado College community and the city of Colorado Springs.
