During Block Break 1, Quosiah Lawal ‘29 and I helped lead the first Outdoor Education (OE) Cultural Ambassador FOOT Trip. The mission of OE Cultural Ambassadors is to expand accessibility to outdoor recreation at Colorado College by empowering historically underrepresented students to engage in outdoor education with confidence and community. On this trip, we had six freshmen join us and three OE Guides backpacking through Wild Basin in Rocky Mountain National Park, swimming in alpine lakes and developing outdoor skills.
