Women’s Lacrosse: The Tigers began their Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play with games against the College of St. Benedict and Hamline University on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, respectively. 

Colorado College won both games, the first 14-6 and the second 19-3. With the wins, CC improved to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in WIAC play. 

CC swept WIAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week honors as Charlotte Iler ‘27 was named Offensive Player of the Week and freshman Sofia Niklaus ‘29 collected Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced.

Men’s Lacrosse: The Tigers had a couple of games in Texas last weekend. First, facing off against Sewanee on Saturday, March 28, where CC would come away with a 13-6 victory. A day later, CC cruised past Southwestern, 18-5, on Sunday, March 29, in Georgetown, Texas. 

These wins guided the Tigers to an impressive 9-2 record on the season. 

Club Nordic Skiing: Amelia Walsh ‘29 competed at the U.S. Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) National Tournament and finished 22nd in the 7.5km Classic Interval Start, 23rd in the Freestyle Sprint, and 36th in the 15km Freestyle Mass Start. Her efforts landed CC Women’s Nordic a 12th-place team finish.

Upcoming Events: 

Register by Friday, April 3, for Block 7’s Second Saturday Series – Cornhole Tournament. Pool play will start at noon on the Worner Quad on Saturday, April 4. For more information, check out the Spring Sports Schedule page on the CC website.

Men’s Club Soccer will host Mines this Sunday, April 5, at 3 p.m., on Stewart Field.

Dodgeball, Inner Tube Water Polo, Softball and Ice Broomball all continue play this block.
