Men’s Hockey:
The Colorado College Tigers are 11-12-3 (5-8-3 in conference) and continue conference play this week. CC faced off against the Arizona State Sun Devils in a home series on Jan. 30 and 31, losing 6-5 to the visitors in a back-and-forth thriller on Friday before bringing home the bacon with a 4-1 win on Saturday. Freshman goaltender Jackson Unger took home his first career win in Saturday’s game, and freshman defenseman Mats Lindgren was named the KJ Branding NCHC Defenseman of the Week for his three-point, two-goal performance over the weekend.

The Tigers face off in a home-and-home series this weekend against bitter rivals No. 8 University of Denver Pioneers. The Battle for the Gold Pan resumes at Ed Robson Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 before traveling north to Denver’s Magness Arena on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Women’s Basketball:
The Tigers are in the midst of a 10-game win streak, holding a record of 15-4 (10-0 in conference).
On Jan. 30, the Tigers continued their win streak with an 79–72 away win against Concordia University Texas. A day later, the Tigers aced their biggest test of conference play so far, beating Texas Lutheran University 62-50, who until this game hadn’t lost in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) play.
Senior guard Kayla Mackel was named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week and was named to the D3Hoops.com team of the week for her weekend, leading the Tigers with 59 points over the two games. She also posted 14 rebounds, four steals and three blocks over the two games.
The Tigers have another Texas road trip to look forward to, traveling to Abilene, Texas to take on McMurry University on Feb. 6, tipping off at 7:30 p.m. CT. They then travel to Kerrville, Texas to play Schreiner University on Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. CT.
Men’s Basketball:
The Tigers now hold a record of 8-11 (6-4 in conference) and continue Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) play this week.
On Jan. 30, the Tigers lost 84-80 to Concordia University Texas. They bounced back on Jan. 31, winning an overtime thriller against Texas Lutheran University 92-84.
The Tigers continue SCAC play this week, traveling to Abilene, Texas to match up against McMurry University on Feb. 6, tipping off at 5:30 p.m. CT. They then travel to Kerrville, Texas to play Schreiner University on Feb. 8 at 12 p.m. CT.
Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track and Field:
The Tigers compete next on Friday, Feb. 6 in the Colorado Classic in Boulder.
Men’s Swim & Dive:
The Tigers now prepare for the SCAC Championships, held in Garland, Texas from Feb. 11–14.

Club Sports:
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Women’s Club Hockey takes on Tony’s and Zap Shots at Robson Arena, while Men’s Club Hockey faces off in an uncertain match against a team to be determined at time of writing at Robson Arena.
From Saturday, Feb. 7 to Sunday, Feb. 8 Club Nordic Skiing compete in the Western Colorado Invite in Crested Butte, Colo.
No. 15 Zenith Club Ultimate Frisbee and No. 15 Wasabi Club Ultimate Frisbee will travel to Portland, Ore. for the weekend of Feb. 14-15 to compete in DIII Grand Prix, their first sanctioned games of the season.
Intramurals:
In the SS Regatta held on Jan. 31, Baby Girls and The Sea-Word 2.0 tied for first for the Speed Boat award, with Qwades winning the Boeing SuperMax Design and Theme award, while The Artist Formerly Known as Quad won the Titanic Award for the most spectacular sinking.
IM Basketball and Futsal Leagues continued this week and will run through Block 6.
Registration for the Spring Ping Pong Tournament and the Ice Broomball League are due Friday, Feb. 6. Block 6’s Second Saturday Series, a pickleball tournament, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28.
