Women’s Soccer:
Only one match remains in Mountain West Conference play. On Sunday, Oct. 26, the Tigers drew 0-0 against Grand Canyon. Now 5-6-6 (2-3-4 conference), the Tigers hope to finish the regular season strong against Air Force at Weidner Field in downtown Colorado Springs on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.
Men’s Soccer:
On Oct. 24, the Tigers beat McMurry 10-0 in their last home game of the season. Freshman Ewan Robertson had a hat trick and an assist, the first CC hat trick since 2019. On Sunday, Oct. 26, CC defeated Schreiner 4-1, extending their unbeaten streak to 16 games and improving their record to 10-0-6. The Tigers close out the regular season with an away game against the University of Dallas on Nov. 1 in Irving, Texas, at 12 p.m. CT.
Men’s Hockey:
The No. 15 Tigers compete next in a weekend series against Omaha at home, competing on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
Women’s Volleyball:
Last week, the Tigers traveled to Longview, Texas for a trio of matches. They defeated LeTourneau 3-0 on Friday, Oct. 24, then took down Centenary 3-0 and St. Thomas 3-0 on Saturday, Oct. 25. After this weekend, the Tigers’ record is currently 16-7 (8-4 conference). Sophomore Camden Goodman was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Volleyball Setter of the Week for her 102 assist weekend. They continue conference play with a pair of matches: first against McMurry on Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. CT in Abilene, Texas, then on Nov. 1 against Schreiner at 1 p.m. CT in Kerrville, Texas.
Men’s Cross Country:
The No. 29 Tigers compete next at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships in Houston, Texas on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Women’s Cross Country:
The No. 22 Tigers compete next at the SCAC Championships in Houston, Texas on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Women’s Swim & Dive:
On Friday, Oct. 24, the Tigers lost 81-159 in a dual meet against Colorado School of Mines. Junior diver Keller Pooley was named the co-SCAC Women’s Diver of the Week for her first place finishes in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. The Tigers compete next on Saturday, Nov. 1 in a dual meet against Adams State in Alamosa. The meet will begin at 12 p.m.
Men’s Swim & Dive:
On Friday, Oct. 24, the Tigers lost 107-138 in a dual meet against Colorado School of Mines. The Tigers compete next on Saturday, Nov. 1 in a dual meet against Adams State in Alamosa. The meet will begin at 12 p.m.
Men’s Club Soccer:
The men’s club soccer team qualified for Regionals, which will be held in Omaha, Neb., during the second weekend of Block 3. The men’s club soccer defeated Denver University at home last Sunday to finish the regular season with a team record of 17 points. They clinched Pool D’s #2 seed for Regionals. Knockout rounds begin Friday, Oct. 31 in Omaha, Neb.
Women’s Club Soccer:
The women’s club soccer team qualified for the Regional tournament, which will be held in Omaha, NE, during the second weekend of Block 3.
Intramurals:
Play for flag football, soccer and volleyball continues this week, and hockey and ping pong intramurals began. Playoffs for flag football, soccer and volleyball began this past week. This block’s second Saturday series is a 3v3 bubble soccer tournament that will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1. Signups are due by Friday, Oct. 31, but teams can be registered day of. Registration for the Block Four Futsal and Basketball tournaments is due by Friday, Nov. 7.
