Women’s Soccer:
Now holding a record of 3-4-5 (0-1-3 conference), the Colorado College Tigers drew Boise State 2-2 on Thursday, Oct. 2. Finley Schoenbeck ‘28 scored just 63 seconds into the game, then scored another in the 76th minute for a brace. On Sunday, Oct. 5, the Tigers drew Utah State 0-0 for their fourth shutout of the season. The Tigers have two away matches over the next weekend, facing Colorado State in Fort Collins on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m., then traveling to Laramie, Wyo., to face the University of Wyoming on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m.
Men’s Soccer:
The Tigers continued conference play this weekend with a pair of away matches. They collected a 3-1 win on Friday, Oct. 3, against Centenary University, and a goalless draw against St. Thomas University on Sunday, Oct. 5. Jack Hillard ‘27, Luke Stefanski ‘26 and Ewen Robertson ‘29 scored a goal each in Friday’s affair. The Tigers now boast an undefeated 6-0-4 record and kept their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) win streak alive, now 32 games long, which dates back to Oct. 31, 2023. They look to keep the streak alive with a game on Friday, Oct. 10, at 4:30 at home against Texas Lutheran and a game Sunday, Oct. 12, at 12 p.m. against Concordia (Texas).
Men’s Hockey:
The Tigers split their season-opening series against No. 10 University of Connecticut. On Friday, Oct. 3, the Tigers won 4-2 against the Huskies, but lost 5-1 on Saturday, Oct. 4 to the visitors from the East Coast. Coming up for the Tigers is a pair of games next weekend. First, they face Bentley on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at home in Robson Arena, then compete against Air Force at Cadet Ice Arena for the Pikes Peak trophy.

Women’s Volleyball:
On Saturday, Oct. 4, the Tigers defeated the University of Dallas 3-0 in the morning, then lost 3-1 to Austin College in the afternoon. On Sunday, Oct. 5, they lost 3-1 to Hendrix College, but defeated the College of Wooster 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 7, for a 2-2 overall record. Currently, the Tigers hold a 12-5 record (4-2 conference) and they will continue conference play this week. They face Schreiner on Friday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m. and McMurry on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 11 p.m. Both games are in Reid Arena.
Men’s Cross Country:
The No. 26 Tigers finished 11th of 45 teams at the Paul Short Run on Oct. 4 in Bethlehem, Penn. Will Shuflit ‘27 led the way, finishing first in front of 422 DIII runners to win the 8K race, setting a school-record-breaking time of 24:04.9. Shufflit was named the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second week in a row and the third time this season for his performance. The Tigers compete next at the UCCS Open on Friday, Oct. 10, at North Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs.
Women’s Cross Country:
The No. 21 Tigers finished 10th of 45 teams at the Paul Short Run on Oct. 4 in Bethlehem, Penn. Alison Mueller-Hickler ‘26 led the Tigers, finishing 12th of 418 DIII runners with a personal–best time of 22:23.50 in the 6K. Mueller-Hickler was named the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second week in a row and the third time this season for her performance. The Tigers compete next at the UCCS Open on Friday, Oct. 10 at North Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs.
Intramurals:
Play for Flag Football, Soccer, and Volleyball continues this week. All three sports will take place over Blocks 2 and 3.
