Women’s Soccer: The Tigers had two games on April 12, drawing 1-1 against both Colorado Christian and New Mexico. They compete next on April 26 in the Colorado Cup in Boulder, facing UC Boulder at 11 a.m. and UCCS at noon.
Track & Field: Rabbit Barnes ‘26 set a school record in the 800-meter at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, Kan., with a time of 1:51.45, breaking his own record of 1:51.88 set last season. Senior Isabel Olsen set a school record at the same meet in the 1500 meter, placing second with a time of 4:27.59, surpassing her record of 4:33.94 set last season. Olson was named the SCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the achievement. Junior Clara Lippert was named SCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week the following week after posting three top-10 results at the Loper Invitational. The men’s 4×400 relay team set a school record at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.. The team of Oliver Smeal ‘28, Will Nakahara ’27, Rabbit Barnes ‘26 and Josh Williams ‘26 placed 10th with a time of 3:15.81, breaking the previous record by almost five seconds. The Tigers compete next in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships from Friday April 25 through Sunday, April 27 in Seguin, Texas.
Women’s Lacrosse: The No. 17 Tigers collected a trio of wins during a road trip to Wisconsin and Minnesota, beating the appropriately named University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 16-5 on April 11, and the University of Wisconsin-Stout 19-3 and Augsburg University 22-0 on Sunday April 13. The Tigers fell to No. 15 Trinity College (Connecticut) 14-11, but bounced back to take down No. 11 The College of New Jersey 17-13. In the latter game, Charlotte Iler ‘27 posted three goals and three assists, and was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Offensive Player of the Week. The Tigers, now with a final regular season record of 16-3, have a weekend off before competing in the WIAC tournament on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3.
Men’s Lacrosse: The Tigers closed out the regular season with a 20-8 loss against Endicott College on Thursday, April 17 and a 14-13 overtime win against UMass Boston on Friday, April 19. They end their season with a record of 8-6.
Men’s Tennis: The Tigers finished their regular season with a trio of away matches in Texas, winning 5-2 against Concordia University Texas on Friday, April 18, losing 7-0 to No. 29 Trinity University on Saturday, April 19, and losing 5-2 to No. 58 Southwestern University on Sunday, April 20. The Tigers will now face either Texas Lutheran University or Austin College on Friday, April 25 in the quarterfinals of the SCAC championships. Should they win, they will play in the semifinal on Saturday, April 26 and in the finals on Sunday, April 27.
Women’s Tennis: The No. 48 Tigers closed out the regular season with a pair of away matches in Texas, beating Concordia University Texas 7-0on Friday, April 18 and beating Southwestern University 7-0 Sunday, April 20. The Tigers swept the SCAC weekly awards, with Kala Komanduri ‘27 being named the Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for a pair of wins at the number one singles, and freshmen duo Lucia Moravek and Aspen Young being named the Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for a pair of wins at number one doubles. The Tigers enter the SCAC championships as the number two seed, riding a five-match win streak. They face the winner of the Texas Lutheran match on Friday, April 26. Should they win, they will play in the semifinal on Saturday, April 26 and in the finals on Sunday, April 27.
Wasabi Ultimate Frisbee: No. 10 Wasabi competes Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27 in the DIII South Central Regional Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The top two finishers at this tournament qualify for DIII national tournament.
Zenith Ultimate Frisbee: Zenith finished second at DIII South Central Regionals, going 4-0 in pool play games against Colorado College-B, Trinity, Truman State and Rice. In the bracket, Zenith took down Truman State 15-2 but fell 12-15 in the final against Rice, who took the sole bid to nationals.
