Hockey: Men’s hockey fell to No. 6 University of Denver in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) quarterfinals, ending their season. The Tigers won 3-1 in Denver on Friday, March 14, but lost 6-3 on Saturday and 9-2 on Sunday to end their season. In the days following the loss, Noah Laba ‘26 signed with the New York Rangers, graduate student Ty Gallagher signed with the AHL’s Providence Bruins and Gleb Veremyev ‘26 signed with the New York Islanders.
Track & Field: Juniors Josh Williams and Allison Barker earned All-West Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor season. Williams earned the honor in the 60-meter, the 200-meter and the 400-meter events, while Barker earned it for the 800-meter. This past weekend, the men’s 4×100 relay team broke a 44-year-old school record at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invite in Pueblo, Colo. Chase Marks ‘27, Holden Perry ‘25, Josh Williams ‘26 and Oliver Smeal ‘28 finished with a time of 41.50 seconds, breaking the previous record of 41.70. The Tigers will compete next in the WashU Distance Carnival on March 27-28 in St. Louis, Mo. and the Chuck Hearing Open Invite in Pueblo on March 29.
Women’s Basketball: The No. 25 Tigers fell to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 79-52 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, ending their historic season. This season, the Tigers were 23-4, undefeated at home, won their first-ever SCAC regular season title, and qualified for the national tournament for just the second time in program history. Senior Zoë Tomlinson was named the D3Hoops.com Region 10 player of the year, a WBCA Division III All-American, and a finalist for the Jostens trophy — awarded to the best player in DIII.
Men’s Lacrosse: The Tigers are currently 6-3, losing to No. 17 St. John Fisher 14-8 at home on March 8. The team bounced back with a pair of wins: 19-11 against Illinois Wesleyan, who was undefeated going into the game, on March 12 and 18-9 against Ursinus College on March 16. On Friday, March 28, the Tigers host their last home game of the season and Senior Night at 5 p.m. on Washburn Field against Elmhurst College.
Women’s Lacrosse: The No. 19 Tigers continued their stretch of strong play, taking down Catholic 14-13 on March 12, Rhodes College 18-7 on March 14 and DePauw University 13-9 on March 16. They picked up their second loss of the season against New Paltz on March 17, losing 7-8, but bounced back by handing No. 9 Pomona-Pitzer their first loss of the season in a 13-8 victory March 20. This weekend, the Tigers host their last three home games of the season. They face Chapman University on March 27 at 4 p.m., Hamline University on March 29 at 3 p.m. and College of Saint Benedict on March 30 at 11 a.m. for their Senior Day game.
Men’s Tennis: The Tigers played a long stretch of games in California over spring break. They lost 2-5 on March 15 to No. 24 CalTech, and 1-6 on March 17 to No. 20 Redlands. They collected their first win of the season on March 18, taking down Whittier College 7-0. The Tigers lost on March 19 to No. 29 Pomona-Pitzer, but ended an extensive road trip with a pair of wins: 5-2 against Cal Lutheran and 5-2 against UC Santa Cruz to improve to a 3-9 record.
Women’s Tennis: The Tigers played a long stretch of games in California over spring break. The Tigers lost 2-5 on March 15 to No. 29 CalTech, 3-4 on March 17 to No. 22 Redlands, and 2-5 on March 19 to No.10 Amherst College. They ended the road trip on a strong note with a pair of wins: 5-2 against Cal Lutheran and 5-2 against UC Santa Cruz to improve to a 5-6 record.
Zenith Ultimate Frisbee: No.7 Zenith finished ninth at Centex 2025, going 2-1 in pool play beating Texas (B) and Boston University, and losing to second-seeded (and DI No. 21) UCLA. Zenith lost 14-10 to regional rival No. 14 Rice in prequarters, but beat No. 22 Trinity and San Diego State to earn a ninth-place finish.
Wasabi Ultimate Frisbee: No. 11 Wasabi tied for seventh place at Centex 2025 against a field of mostly DI teams. Notably, Wasabi took a 10-8 win against (at the time) DIII No. 2 Middlebury.
