Welcome back to Beer for Babes for our second-to-last article of this year (and Tia’s second-to-last article ever). Although these are bittersweet times we still gotta make the most of our beer for babing. This week we drank The Delicious Italian-style Pilsner, or hey mambo mambo Italiano from Mikerphone Brewing. To be completely honest I chose this beer because it is Italian and so am I so we have something in common. Felt an immediate bond to this one. The Weber guy also said it was “sooooo good” and I will always trust the Weber guy.
This beer went down easily and smoothly. It was a light pilsner and was the perfect beer for a warm spring night on the porch. This went down easier than a LOT of the beers that we have done recently. We drank it very leisurely but still had 40 seconds to spare which doesn’t sound great but is much better than usual.
This Italian tall boy paired so well with the weather and CROOZ massacre stories. Shoutout to everyone who didn’t come out of the CROOZ unscathed try one of these beers and maybe it will make you feel better (unless you got concussed then please don’t drink right now). However, do not chug this beer, it’s a sipper for sure.
Overall this beer hit the spot. With warm weather, gossip and people walking by, Mambo Mambo Italiano really hit the spot. Definitely buy this beer (and ask the Weber guy about it because he loves it) and we will see you all next week for Tia’s finale.
