Hi Babes! This week, we tried Juicy Bits IPA from WeldWerks Brewing Company in Greeley, Colorado. Their motto is “Dialed in Beer,” and boy is that accurate! According to their website, Juicy Bits is one of the most highly regarded IPAs in the country. This beer smells very citrusy, but that intense scent doesn’t necessarily transfer to the taste — as the flavor reminds us of accidentally biting into an orange rind. In addition, this beer was nicely bitter and hoppy with a subtle creamy sweetness that lingers in the back of the mouth. It tastes very similar to a kumquat, with equally sweet and bitter notes.

We did this review once again with some more friends, and everyone liked the beer. We wished we had reviewed the beer earlier in the day because it is perfect for enjoying on a sunny porch. Although, we thought it would be paired well with goat cheese, smoked pork, and an IUD insertion … nothing can stop our dedication to the craft of reviewing beer (wishing I drank three of these before the procedure (normalize vasectomies)).

What’s more, this horny-sounding name brought us a lot of joy and burps. Juicy Bits is 6.7% ABV, but you’d never believe it because of how light and delicious it is. Despite this, the chug was still difficult (obviously).

The can is cute and inviting, just begging to be purchased. Per usual, we get all of our beer from Weber Street Liquor, so if you’re curious, pure joy is only a couple of blocks away.
