Hey everyone! Welcome back to Beer for Babes for a delicious hazy review this week. We had the Wavelength X Frequency Hazy IPA from Fort Collins, CO! At 6.5%, this beer was perfect for a Monday night (we still haven’t learned the wonders of scheduling).
This beer was incredibly hazy, but not in an overwhelming way. We concluded that we would purchase this again for personal pleasure; we highly recommend this beer, specifically, for darty season. This beer provided a great amount of burps and didn’t leave us feeling too full. This brewery has a lot of fun flavors we are excited to try, including Cherry Almond Pie A La Mode, 305 Alive: Blueberry, Lemon Banana Sour and Mango Peach Valley Water. These flavors could either be great and refreshing for summer, or they could be a complete disaster…we will let you know. It’s nice to finally see a brewery that isn’t just making the same beer over and over again. This brewery got its start in 2002, so they certainly went through some shit to come up with these flavors. Well done, Peculiar Brewing.
We finished this beer with over two minutes remaining and would have happily drank a third. The can was visually super cool, and selfishly, easy to draw. All in all, this was a good, solid beer that we will be adding to our list of favorites (stay tuned for our list of favorites).
As always, thank you so much for reading! We love drinking beer and writing articles. Last week, we introduced Megan who will be replacing Tia after graduation, and we are stoked to have another babe who loves beer just as much as we do. Going forward, Megan will be present for most tastings! There are only four more articles for the year, so if you have a beer that you really want us to try, don’t hesitate to reach out by email!
