Happy hometowns! This beer was perfect for the drama packed episode of The Bachelor that took place Monday night. If you aren’t watching it, stop whatever you’re doing and get caught up. We won’t write any spoilers — we aren’t the worst ever like Sydney, Lea and Jess. This is the first time we had a Pilsner in a while and let us tell you, we strongly welcomed this beer after last week’s pecan disaster. Pilsners are always a good, safe beer. And this one had a pretty can so BONUS. This Pilsner is from Odell Brewing Company, based in Fort Collins. They call it the “Odell Pils.”
This beer was extremely filling. Our bellies felt super full – Izzy’s especially because she had eaten some Trader Joe’s tamales beforehand (fire, but she does not recommend). Despite this, we loved it. It tasted great, and we would definitely buy this again. This is a perfect beer to bring to a darty … something to actually look forward to when the only options are lacrosse and soccer houses. No but really, we are very excited that darty season is upon us. We love the warm weather, and we especially love drinking. In conclusion, this was a great beer, yay for warm weather, and we are team Maria forever (even if Joey just wants to keep her until the fantasy suites episode. Stay tuned for a special feature!
