Welcome back beer lovers! What a great time to be at school, right after enjoying Thanksgiving Break and right before celebrating the holiday season. How depressing is that!

You know what would make it better? Drinking. Specifically, drinking beers that we recommend to you. So read up and get your burnt-out ass to Weber Street Liquor.
This week we are proud to introduce our first winter-themed beer called “Ill Tempered Gnome” which perfectly describes our current mood. At 6.8% ABV from Oakshire Brewing in Eugene, Oregon, this grumpy gnome does not mess around. We were feeling warm and bright after this beer binge. We picked this to celebrate the newly fallen snow on Colorado College’s campus (it’s all gone now due to our favorite bragging point ever: 300 days of sunshine).
This can design is adorable. We usually think of gnomes as something you’d find in your aunt’s run-down garden, but this one looks like it came straight from the North Pole: overworked and tired. Though this can gives off a chilly cozy vibe, we definitely could see ourselves drinking it year round. Maybe this beer thing is starting to become a problem?
Anyway, we really enjoyed this beer. Per usual, the chug went terribly, and we got seriously tipsy. Joy to the world: a beer that doesn’t taste like absolute crap! Pair this beer with dance workshop.
Happy Block 4, everyone – you can get through this. Especially with some help from the Ill Tempered Gnome.
