As a consistent top finisher on Princeton Review’s prestigious “Everyone Plays Intramural Sports” rankings (#11 last year!), Colorado College intramurals are back in swing. Weather you’re a soccer enthusiast, dodgeball fiend, football fanatic, or volleyball aficionado, the fall intramural season has something for you.

Like a huge number of students at CC, I have found myself on multiple teams looking forward to each respective season and our team’s quest to drink a couple beers, have fun with some fellow Tigers on campus, and enjoy the outdoors… Unless of course, you’re trying to relieve the glory days and win a championship, in which case the beers can wait until the t-shirt is secured, right?

Whichever way you do intramurals, enjoy it! For not much longer in life will we have this plethora of organized leagues that allow for as much friendly competition a Tiger could ever ask for.

Tons of credit goes out to Andy Obringer, Chris Starr, and Rachel Hartman, who organize these leagues for us and make CC recreation and intramurals as great as they are. Shout out to the refs as well—unless you blew that one call, that one time—you know who you are. So here’s to another year of intramurals at the #1 Liberal Arts College.

To get even more inspired for your quest for the t-shirt, make sure to check out El Pomar’s new intramural champion wall by the squash courts. The names are great, the smiles are infectious, and if you’re as crazy as me, they’ll make you want a t-shirt realll bad. Let the games begin—intramurals are back!
