DECEMBER 5, 2025 | FEATURES | By Megan Burich and Haley Outwater
Hello readers! We know you missed us. Our hiatus is mostly due to the fact that it is the end of the semester and we are dying. Physically, mentally and spiritually, your girls are hurting.
But fear not, we are back on our weekly drinking grind. This is why we had to choose a guaranteed win this week with Tangerine Cream from Station 26.
Strolling the aisles of Whole Foods, we were excited to stumble across this semi-familiar baddie – coming in at 5.4%, this beer could offer us a solid time.
Haley had not tried this beer, while Megan has been a repeat offender for Tangerine Cream. As graduation creeps closer, Haley and Megan channeled one of the elders who first introduced Megan to this beer, Lucy Flanagan ‘24.
Soon, we too will graduate. We may or may not be having existential dread and impending doom about it. Megan has started looking into ski patrolling.
This ale is easy – just what we needed to lift our spirits after break. First impressions are strong. You can’t exactly go wrong with orange and vanilla, and although some prefer it in popsicle form, these girls loved it in beer form.
Haley loved it so much, but she noted it could be even stronger. Most of the flavor came from the aftertaste, with notes of vanilla bean lingering on the tongue. This was an exciting moment for us, as our track record for beer selection typically has an aftertaste of absolute ass. It was so easy to drink, it almost reminded us of a seltzer.
The girls were instantly thrown back into the swing of Beer, our column, as we were reminded
that we, in fact, had to drink three of these bad boys, instead of two pints.
As we sat back and relaxed, we decided to put on Heated Rivalry, the new show about closeted gay hockey players. As the dialogue got steamier, we got drunker, which provided a wonderful pairing for a magical Monday.
Trump quotes like “quiet, piggy” were flying, Haley was poking Megan like a child, and the fact that we had eight people crammed onto our four-person couch created an environment for a rowdy Monday.
A few momentous things happened in this Beer for Babes. First, Haley and Megan were cuddling on the couch. Megan is someone who rarely shows physical affection, so this was huge for Haley.
Second, Haley and Megan released some of the best burps this semester.
Haley even noted it was her first real burp of her Beer for Babes career. Overall, this was a great return from our hiatus.
We hope you enjoyed this short but sweet article. We missed you all, and we can’t wait to hit our last Beer for Babes of the semester next week. See ya!
