Women’s Soccer:
The Tigers lost 3-1 to Kansas State on Thursday, Sept. 11, in Manhattan, Kan., falling to a record of 3-3-2. The team faces their first set of conference games this weekend, first matching up against the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m., then traveling to San Diego to compete against San Diego State at 12 p.m. PT on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Men’s Soccer:
The Tigers improved to 3-0-3 and remained unbeaten in a 2-1 win Saturday, Sept. 13 at home against Carroll University. The game was their last in non-conference play, and the team faces its first set of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference games this weekend. On Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m., the Tigers take on the University of the Ozarks at home at Stewart Field. They finish the weekend with a game against Hendrix College at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept 28, also at Stewart Field.
Men’s Hockey:
The Tigers were picked fifth in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) preseason poll, behind reigning national champions Western Michigan, University of Denver, North Dakota and Arizona State. The team opens the season with a weekend series at home against No. 8 University of Connecticut, Oct. 3-4.
Women’s Volleyball:
The Tigers went 2-1 to improve to an overall record of 9-3 at the Carthage Invite in Concordia, Wis. They beat Concordia 3-0 on Friday, Sept. 19, and beat No. 13 University of Wisconsin-Platteville 3-2 but lost to Carthage 3-0 on Saturday. Juniors Camille Sherrill and Annie Joo were named the SCAC Offensive Player and Setter of the week, respectively, for their performance over the weekend. Sherrill’s 29 kills against UW-Platteville tied for No. 5 on the SCAC all-time list for kills in a game. The Tigers collected another pair of wins, 3-0 against Texas Lutheran on Sept. 19 and 3-1 against Concordia (Texas) on Sept. 20. On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Sherrill was named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. She led the Tigers with 33 kills. The team returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 27 against University of St. Thomas at home in Reid Arena.
Men’s Cross Country:
CC competes next in the Ted Castaneda Classic, hosted in Monument Valley Park North on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Intramurals:
Play for Flag Football, Soccer, and Volleyball begins this week. All three sports will take place over Blocks 2 and 3.
