Women’s Soccer: 

The Tigers finish their season just five points away from qualification for the Mountain West Conference tournament. They finished the regular season strong with a 1-1 draw against Air Force at Weidner Field in the City for Champions Cup Thursday, Oct. 30. The Tigers’ final record is 5-6-7 (2-3-5 conference).

Men’s Soccer: 

The Tigers closed the regular season emphatically with a 10-1 win against the University of Dallas on Nov. 1. Sophomore Teddy Opler scored his first career hat trick, winning the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Offensive Player of the Week award. Opler finishes the regular season second in the league with 13 goals. The win extends their unbeaten streak to 17 games and improves their record to 11-0-6, good for the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the SCAC tournament next week in Houston. The Tigers play in the SCAC semifinal on Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. CT. Should they win, they will compete in the SCAC final on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. CT. 

Men’s Hockey: 

The No. 20 Tigers lost both games in a home series against Omaha. The Tigers lost 3-2 on Friday, Oct. 31 and lost 5-4 on Saturday, Nov. 1, despite putting 91 shots on goal over the weekend. CC looks to bounce back in a series against Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz., on Friday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. 

Women’s Volleyball: 

Last week, the Tigers traveled to Texas for a pair of conference games. They defeated McMurry 3-0 on Oct. 31, then beat Schreiner 3-1 on Nov. 1 to improve to 18-7 (10-4 conference). Sophomore setter Camden Goodman won her second SCAC Setter of the Week award in as many weeks for her 73 assists, 23 digs and two aces over the two games. With their two wins, the Tigers have clinched a spot in the 2025 SCAC Championships on Nov. 14-15 in Kerrville, Texas. They finish their regular season with a pair of home games: taking on Concordia on Friday, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m., then facing Texas Lutheran on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. for their senior day game. Both games will take place in Reid Arena.

Men’s Cross Country: 

The No. 25 Tigers won their seventh-straight SCAC Championship in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 1. Led by junior Will Shuflit, the Tigers captured the top four spots, and eight Tigers finished in the top 14 to secure all-conference honors. The Tigers next compete in the NCAA DIII West Regional meet on Saturday, Nov. 15 in Claremont, Calif. 

Women’s Cross Country: 

The No. 20 Tigers won their fifth-straight SCAC Championship in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 1. Led by senior Alison Mueller-Hickler, the Tigers captured the top five spots in the race, and 10 Tigers finished in the top 14 to secure all-conference honors. The Tigers finished with a perfect score of 15 for the third time in the last four years. The Tigers next compete in the NCAA DIII West Regional meet on Saturday, Nov. 15 in Claremont, Calif. 

Women’s Swim & Dive: 

On Saturday, Nov. 1, the Tigers won 138-54  in a dual meet against Adams State in Alamosa. Freshman Annie Engstrom was named the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for her victories in the 500-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle events, as well as swimming a leg in the winning 800-free relay. They compete next at the Centre College Invitational in Danville, Ky., from Friday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 23. 

Men’s Swim & Dive: 

On Saturday, Nov. 1, the Tigers won 137-67 in a dual meet against Adams State in Alamosa. Sophomore Andrew Colgan was named the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his victories in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 50-yard freestyle, as well as swimming the breaststroke leg in the winning 200-medley relay. They compete next at the Centre College Invitational in  Danville, Ky., from Friday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 23. 

Men’s Club Soccer: 

The men’s club soccer team finished second in the Region V tournament in Omaha, Neb., Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, falling just short of a spot at nationals. The team named Theo Cherry ‘26 and Charlie DeAlessi ‘28 their co-MVPs of the tournament. 

Women’s Club Soccer: 

The women’s club soccer team finished fourth in their pool in the Region V tournament, in Omaha, Neb., from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2. They did not qualify for bracket play. This is the team’s first time competing in regionals. 

Intramurals: 

Play for flag football, soccer and volleyball continues this week, and hockey and ping pong intramurals began. Playoffs for flag football, soccer and volleyball wrap up this week. Registration for the Block Four Futsal and Basketball tournaments is due by Friday, Nov. 7.
