Hockey: The Tigers swept their home series against Miami University (Ohio) last weekend, winning 6-1 on Friday, Feb. 14, and 5-4 in overtime on Saturday, Feb. 15. Drew Montgomery ‘27 had three goals on the weekend and was named the KJ Branding NCHC forward of the week on Monday, Feb. 17. The Tigers take on St. Cloud State University this weekend in St. Cloud, Minn.
Track & Field: Josh Williams ‘26 set a school record in the 200-meter with 21.76 seconds at the Jarvis Scott Invite at Texas Tech University this past weekend.
Women’s Swim & Dive: The Tigers finished second at the SCAC Championships behind Trinity University. Emma Krasemann ‘25 took home Diver of the Meet honors for the second consecutive year, finishing first in the 3-meter and second in the 1-meter events. Megan Simonson ‘26 was named the 2025 SCAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Elite 19 award winner. The award is meant to recognize the best in each conference sport related to academic and athletic achievement.
Men’s Swim & Dive: The Tigers won the SCAC team title for the first time in program history on Sunday, Feb. 15, posting 11 individual and relay titles. They finished with 1042 points, eight more than runners-up Trinity University. Wyatt Wellehan ‘27 was named Diver of the Meet, finishing first in the 3-meter. The CC coaching staff, led by first-year head coach Jen Buffin, was named the SCAC Men’s Swim and Dive Coaching Staff of the Year for the third year.
Men’s Basketball: The Tigers won two games this past weekend, beating Centenary 68-47 on Friday and University of the Ozarks 69-55 on Sunday, Feb. 15, to improve to 13-10. This weekend, the Tigers take on Schreiner University at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 and No. 25 Trinity at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, in their last regular season games. Both games will be in Reid Arena. Sunday’s game is Senior Day, and pom-poms will be given away.
Women’s Basketball: The No. 23 Tigers got a pair of wins this past weekend, beating Centenary Friday 76-45 and University of the Ozarks Saturday 62-55. With the win over the Ozarks, the Tigers improved to 21-2, good for a program record and first place in the SCAC Blue Division. On Monday, Feb. 17, Senior Zoë Tomlinson was named SCAC Player of the Week for the fifth time this season. This weekend, the Tigers take on Schreiner University at Reid Arena at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Trinity at noon on Sunday, Feb. 23, in their last regular season games. Women’s basketball will also celebrate Senior Day on Sunday.
Men’s Lacrosse: The Tigers lost their first away games this past weekend, losing 10-7 to Kenyon and 15-13 to John Carroll University. Matt Hudson ‘27 tied his career-high in goals with six in Saturday’s game against John Carroll.
Women’s Lacrosse: This Monday, women’s lacrosse coach Susan “Stuey” Stuart announced that she will retire at the end of the 2025 season. She is the only head coach in the history of the CC women’s lacrosse program, collecting 312 wins in her 31 seasons, good for 12th most in Division III history. Women’s Lacrosse plays their first game of the season on March 2 at home against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
Men’s Tennis: The Tigers lost 6-1 to Seward Community College on Feb 8. The Tigers have home matches versus Metro State on Friday and Barton Community College on Saturday.

Zenith Ultimate Frisbee: Zenith competed two weekends ago at the Division III Grand Prix, going 3-4. Zenith beat Puget Sound, No. 25 Claremont, and No. 7 Whitman while falling to No. 1 Carleton, No. 9 Lewis & Clark, Oregon State, and No. 8 Portland. Zenith remained at No. 10 in the latest Ultiworld.com power rankings.
Wasabi Ultimate Frisbee: Wasabi competed two weekends ago at the DIII Grand Prix, going 5-1. The team collected wins against Pacific Lutheran, No. 25 Puget Sound, No. 8 Whitman, Claremont and Occidental, losing to No. 7 Lewis & Clark. Miles Katzen ‘26 was named MVP of the weekend’s All-Star game. Wasabi improved from No. 18 to No. 12 in the latest Ultiworld.com power rankings.
